Wilderness Within
Speckled fawn, warmth from mother
She crouches low, evading _the other _
Cotton tails, hopping along
She stills her breath, oh _so long_
__
Feathered and free, soaring afar
She releases a scream, refuge _is far_
Furry friends pause, unnatural amiss
She exhales a shudder, peril to be _a Miss_...
Woodland!
The air was fresh again,
Not like the one around the Big Ben.
Birds were chirping in the trees,
They didn’t stop during a cold breeze.
Everything is so green,
It all makes me feel like fourteen.
The city was too loud,
Now the trees are the only crowd.
The cure I now understand,
the cure I know is the woodland!...
Rejected Love
Shadows played across
Dozing ferns and scattered
Rocks in the evening sun.
The stream flowing
Under a log chuckled
As it passed me,
Head hung low,
Thoroughly dripping
In wounded pride.
Singular drops trickled
From my cheeks,
Feeding the stream

Moss-covered rocks and babbling, brooks,
natures artwork and hidden nooks.
The gentle rustle of critters unseen,

Where sunlight dances through emerald leaves, painting shadows in secrets' guise.
Moss-coated stones hum with the rhythm of nature's song,
While ferns unfurl their emerald fronds, in harmony they belong.
Birds of a rainbow feather, their melodies fill the air,
A symphony of woodland whispers, a dance without a c...
Law Of Nature
Growing up,
I learned trees fight for the sunlight
Wanting more and more to be the tallest
Viewing each others as parasites and pests.
Recently I figured the truth was washed up
Stripped from its meaning by our need to fight.
Projecting our flaws onto a tree.
Us humans could learn from the forest
A society living in harmony
Taking turns making their growth spree.
It’s the law of nature

Only A Matter Of Time
Creatures beneath and those above, seeking refuge from the creatures they fear the most. The ones who take over and build infrastructures all in the name of civilization without the care of the home they invade. They wound and inflict pain with every trim and every cut, yet they stand and preach “save our environment”, the hypocrisy is rather baffling. One ought to remember that in the deep of the...
