Mind
Slips
Into the rhyme,
The rhythm,
The measure,
The ending of time.
Thoughts drip
From my brain to the floor,
And soon I can't recall the poem anymore.
Memories rip
And fade into dust,
Warping,
And creaking,
And covered with rust.
Thoughts blown away
By a whistling gust,
It seems my own mind
Has shattered my trust....
All planned variables worked out right -
External factors, but my mind’s set alight;
The force field is back and my breathing feels tight:
In the end, it was me who’s the problem.
Up until now, it would have been okay;
T-minus 10 and my mind’s led astray -
I guess it’s all part of this cursed Thursday:
The path of success left untrodden.
I’ve no idea where all the time went:

(sorry this one is not very long)
Melody stared up at the blue house framed by a grey, colorless sky. It sat on top of the giant building which she and Elissa had just come out of. They stopped walking, both pondering how it could've gotten there.
"Now, do you think they did that on purpose?" Elissa questioned. "I think they probably did."

On a foggy morning, two girls sit on a bench. Snowflakes drift by. The girl on the right sees them and sighs, wondering when the weather will finally warm up. The girl on the left sees them and smiles, wishing it would stay cold forever.
"You know, Emily, maybe you shouldn't do this..." the girl on the right sounds uncertain.
"Why?" Emily responds, head turning to look at her. Her expression sta...
The travelling medicine man.
He travels through time.
People call him a medicine man,
Though he is not one.
He travels through time.
Through time and space,
Doing good for all he encounters.
People call him a medicine man.
After all, that is what he calls himself.
They don't know who he really is.
Though he is not one.
Many forms, many lives;
In fact, I think I know one of them....
Chapter 4, Week 2: Tuesday
For the second time this week, I am completely fine as I walk into the room. I take a seat, expressionless, waiting for the go-ahead. I eye the imposter, who keeps looking around and accidentally making eye contact with me. This causes me to glance away. I divert my attention to the board with the instructions. They are not completely clear. Obviously, this means I am g...
Chapter 4, Week 1: Monday
I sit at the desk, hair masking my face. My pen scratches away at the small paper in front of me, writing in a code that no one understands. 'Everything right is wrong again,' it reads. Of course, only I would know that. My brain broadcasts thoughts upward. 'What happened? I thought you were going to protect me.' This is just culture shock. I know it is. Give me a week, ...
When your world starts to crumble,
When there's no hope to improve,
When your head is set on fire,
When you're unable to move,
You'll rely upon the magic,
You'll earn power for yourself;
You'll do more than you could imagine,
But only with the magic's help.
You will win greater battles, day after day after day,
But magic comes with a price, are you willing to pay?...
